Our Story

In the year 2020, just before the world was hit with the global Covid-19 pandemic, the Lord Jesus Christ laid on my heart, the desire to take seriously His words in Matthew 25:35-40 and reach out to the world with them. I felt encouraged to remind all His followers about these important words, to help neighbours in need. In Christ’s words, He encouraged His followers to pay special attention to the needy in society. I consider the needy in society as neighbours.

The Lord Jesus Christ identifies these special people as follows:

Please, note that the interpretations in the italics are mostly to identify the parameters of the service areas for GraceRenewal Ministries.

I have been involved in social services, Christian social justice, and compassionate services, since my youth. I continue to serve Christ in community engagement, on a personal and communal levels; sometimes, as an ordained minister, and as a career social worker and therapist.

I have founded groups at McGill University, in the Montreal community, and in Ottawa to help people in need. I am also an author when I have time.

On behalf of GraceRenewal Ministries, I wish to remind Christ’s followers about these special people, that, the Lord Jesus Christ cares about so much. I want to encourage consistent support for the wellbeing of these people.

You do not need to be a follower of Christ to join GraceRenewal, and to make right the injustices of society. If you desire to brighten a person’s life, and leave the person your legacy of compassion and neighbourliness; join with us at GraceRenewal Ministries, and serve your community.

You don't need to be special to help, at GraceRenewal Ministries, everyone can bring happiness into the lives of others by helping.

I invite you to be a good neighbour and join to help in any capacity you can. May you find peace and fulfillment in your life as you share with the less fortunate.

Thank you and God bless!

Maame Grace Boakye-Agyeman, (Rev'd)
